6.8 same engine generac uses, they run good in this app. I worked on them for 5.5 years. Better then the old junk out there.

6.8 V10 there but it'll last just as long as a small diesel. But that'll be guaranteed to start in subzero weather.

During Covid caterpillar wasn’t able to keep up with production here in Michigan Ford kept lot of 4.6 and the smaller 4c to keep up production
