@maxtedoutwellness: What does movement mean to you? Does it mean punishment for eating the "wrong" foods, does it mean a certain image of what you think you should look like, does it mean you're not happy until you look like that or does it mean something else to you? If the above is true where you're using it as a punishment or believing you have to look a certain way, switch the way you look at movement. Make it about YOU in the aspect of you are WORTH it, loving yourself enough to make it a priority in some form. There's so many benefits to it & a huge one is mental health! The feeling of what a simple walk or bike ride can do in switching a bad mood/feelings to feelings of invigoration, happiness & a whole reset is unmeasurable in functioning for the rest of the day in all aspects of daily life. Yesterday I listened to my inner self saying break it up & take a bike ride in the morning followed by a weights session & today I'm back to weights which I love. My bodies grown & birthed 3babies, so I've got to appreciate the way my body is and am enjoying the process of change for where I am going.
