one time i didnt get my deposit back because i used a push pin in the wall. That was the only damage. i guess it took 1200 to fix it lol

I work for a property management company who owns their own maintenance. This wouldn't work. we have receipts.

What's your experience been getting your deposit back? Every state has different laws but generally speaking, this is the case for most so ask! 👍🏼

Landlord tried to charge us for damages in the apartment that were made before we moved in but we had pictures dated and timed to show him 😂

you take pics of everything going in, make sure they are dated on the picture. then do so on the way out. they don't usually chase you up then 😁

Of all the places I lived, never once did I get my security deposit back. And I always left the apartments move-in ready. With paint and all.

Wow wish I could of known this months ago, I moved states and they kept my deposit, and they sent me a letter saying I had to pay more for damages 😐

What if they didn’t notify you within the 30 days can they take you to small claims court and request the entire thing back??
