@leadershipmel: Here are 3 examples of inspiring leadership You hear people talking about the importance of being an inspirational leader, but did you ask yourself what that actually means? I’m going to give you three examples right now. Hi, I’m Mel - I’m an exec coach for pre-executives who want to be better leaders in their career. If that’s you - then make sure you give me a follow Inspiring people means stretching your people into their best more often. Here are three ways to do that… 1. You don’t solve your people’s problems for them, you help them find the answers themselves 2. You give thoughtful positive feedback, in the moment, whenever you see them modeling the desired skills or behaviours. Make it more than a good job. Tell them why it’s a good job and what you appreciate about them. 3. You see the potential in all your people, even if they don’t see it or they haven’t proven it to you yet. This is also really powerful to build trust and bring out their potential faster. FINAL THOUGHT: People feel great about themselves when they operate at their best … and it’s easier for people to be their best when they see you’re dedicated to helping them. And that’s inspiring. #lea#leadershiptoka#leadershipa#bealeadera#leadershipskillse#executivecoachr#corporatelifeccessincorporate
