@gosia_sourdoughfever: Plum Pistachio Frangipane Tart 👩🏻‍🍳💜 I love frangipane tarts. The buttery pastry, beautiful nutty filling, topped with fruit, creates a great balance of textures and flavours. And they can look so pretty, a showstopper that anyone can make. In autumn, I love to use plums in my baking. They are soft, a little tart, a great compliment to any sweet bake. You can’t find a better use for them than a frangipane tart! I love to use ground pistachios as well as almonds in my frangipane, a little twist to the classic flavour. ✨Recipe✨ Tart Dough 210g plain flour 35g icing sugar Pinch of salt 110g unsalted butter, cold, cubed 1 large egg 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Filling 110 butter, room temperature 120g caster sugar 2 large eggs, room temperature 60g ground pistachios 100g ground almond 25g plain flour 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pinch of salt 5-7 large plums Tart dough 🔸Combine all ingredients and using a knife chop until mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs 🔸 Using your hands knead until dough forms a ball 🔸Form a disc, wrap in a cling film and put in the fridge for 1 hour 🔸Roll out into a circle, and transfer to a removable-bottom tart pan 🔸Blind bake for 15min at 190C; egg wash and bake for another 10-15min at 150C Filling 🔹Whisk butter with sugar until light and fluffy 🔹Add in the eggs, one at a time, mix until fully incorporated 🔹Fold in the pistachios, almonds and flour; then add a pinch of salt and vanilla. 🔹Spoon the frangipane into the tart 🔸Assemble the plums on top of the frangipane filling 🔸Bake until crust is just golden around edges, about 40-45 minutes at 170C Happy baking! 👩🏻‍🍳☀️💜 . . . . . #baking #frangipane #plum #plumcake #pistachio #almond #tart #Recipe #tutorial #baker #homemade #homemadecake #whiskfever #tiktokbaker
