I can’t even begin to describe the joy I've experienced since becoming a mom. It's like I've found a light within me that I never knew existed, and I truly feel like I'm the best version of myself. I understand that Chappell was talking about HER friends and sharing her perception of their lives (which she is allowed to do). I actually listened to her entire interview, just to make sure I heard everything she had to say. She really is so real and relatable in many other ways, so I was taken back when she said that about her friends who are moms. She did mention later in the interview “they are in hell because they love their kids”….so I think she understands that there is something special about motherhood, even though it seems like absolute hell to her. I truly hope that one day Chappell gets to see and be around happy moms because we absolutely do exist. I wake up so happy to grab my daughter out of her crib, and I actually LOVEEE that we get to do everything together. I really can’t believe that there was a time when she wasn’t in my life.
