if you forget a day, you can take two birth control pills at once the next day to make up for it. this is only for combination pills though

To be fair certain types of bc pills work as plan b if you take them as directed - they have to have a certain hormone to work that way

plan b is a just a high dosage of normal birth control hormones, so multiple pills really work like plan b. not medical advice.
