@movementbydavid: Unless you have something different about you, you have a inward curve in your lower back and it should not be made to disappear. However the lumbar curve in some people can be over exaggerated! This is not a problem if there is not back pain. But due to something called Reciprocal Inhibition, by curving your back that far the abdominal muscles turn off. This creates a less than optimal situation for lifting things. The opposite is also true! You basically want your pelvis somewhere in between the extremes when you’re resting. And most importantly you want to ability to move into all of the positions! I have a fr ee Booky for you on my page. Check it out if you want to gain more control of your spine. do you have any suggestions for really tight hamstrings? No matter how much I stretch, at the end of the day I curve my back and can't touch my toes

How about upper back? The back of a friend is very rounded around his shoulders and he can't really move that part anymore

My back is like that & I have very limited pelvic movement. I stretch a lot but even after consistency, not much change.

what if it is the other way, I have noticed many people having issues to push pelvis back to get into deep stretches.

I used to be a dancer in my youth. In my 40s I stopped stretching. WORST. MISTAKE. EVER. The slide was fast and brutal. 52 and trying to get it back.

After watching you for the bit that I have I'm learning that while visually I like my lower body but not the functionality. vice versa for the upper.

I’m glad there is a name for it. I have an extreme curve that resulted in my mum telling me all my life to hold my tummy in 🤷🏻♀️
