Good piece. As a financial adviser I always advise this. No brainer. Most people who work will be fine. Biggest risk is to stay at home mothers

If you need 35 years in, why do we still have to pay in after 35 years?

My Mum had 39 years of contributions when checked online but when she called she was told she needs 3 more years as her employer contracted NI payment

I’m missing a year but have worked 35 years towards my state pension. Got 14 years left before retirement. Unless they move the year on again. It was 60 when I started work now 68 🤷🏼♀️

I’m going to start making so many mistakes in my job when I hit 60 so they pay me to take early retirement 😂

Would rather die before hitting pension age than having to rely on state pension and I won’t pay into private pension because government taxes it. 😳
