Having written the screenplay of classic films like TAXI DRIVER and RAGING BULL, Schrader is known for his cinematic storytelling style and dark character studies. Recently, he's gained attention again for writing and directing movies such as FIRST REFORMED, THE CARD COUNTER, and this year's MASTER GARDNER.
