when I was in middle School my math did the magic of translating the math for us in a fun enjoyable way so it was less like a different language.

Omg my algebra teacher had this talk with me and it changed everything! She also said she would fail me if I took algebra 2 bcuz I barely passed 1 😂

I agree with the sentiment 100%, but if I was working with this student I’d be talking about getting them an IEP. If they have a learning disability, there’s no reason their grade should have to be impacted. Ess by high school, it could have significant effects on their GPA, 1/2
