This is called paronychia , which is an affection. Most of the time it comes from biting on your nails. I just recently went through this.

idk if you've heard of hibiclens but it might help to get some and wash your hands with it after each client. It's a pink soap for disinfecting.

ouchhhh these are the worse! I just soak in hot water with peroxide. Roll skin down and pop it with a burned needle cleaned with alcohol.
