@thebackyardfarmco: Just plant individual un-peeled cloves pointy-side-up, about 1-2 inches deep, 6 inches apart. Mine are planted quite shallow (not even an inch), because our winters are mild here. In colder regions planting a little deeper or mulching will protect them from the cold - but don’t bury them too deep, or they won’t sprout! Planted in October or November, these babies won’t be ready to harvest until July - they really take 9 months to grow!
