@catsofsanbernardino: Our vet has an ofrenda set up to remember the dogs and cats that are no longer with us. We brought in Santana and Algos to join their alter. We haven't talked about it much, unless you have joined our weekly Whisker reports. We lost Algos to aggressive lung cancer right after Santana left us💔 It was extremely sudden and we couldn't bring ourselves to talk about it so close to the loss of our other boys Santana and Oceanus 💔 They are extremely missed but never forgotten. We have lost many little friends through out the years and quite honestly, it is the hardest part of rescuing. Everytime we lose a friend, we remember all the other lives we have save and transformed and they are the ones that keep us going. I remember Mimi, Josephine, Oni and Muddi..especially Josephine who died a terrible death a year ago She wouldn’t let go she still had lots of birds to watch, lots of love to give but she was so ill. I also remember Santana who was very special and deserved so much more time❤️😔
