@iricksnacks: Who else gained weight after their baby?! 😅 Yes dad’s gain weight too! It’s due to an increase in Prolactin AND too many cheat days for me 😂 Aside from continuing to lift weights, cutting back on cheat days and staying faithful to keto.. Here are THREE THINGS I’m doing to get back to a healthier weight! ⬇️ Number 1: I’m NOT weighing myself every day!! I probably will 1-2x per month instead. Because weight-loss takes a long time and if I lose 1 lb per week that means most of my daily weigh ins will be disappointing! 😢 Number 2: I’m cutting back on low carb tortillas and bread! Not because they’re horrible foods you should never have, I’m just less likely to overeat something if it’s wrapped lettuce instead! 🥬 Number 3: I’m taking the baby on 45 minute walks every morning! Most of the fat you burn isn’t from hitting the gym, it’s from daily movement like walking and taking the stairs 👍 Here are 2 things I’m NOT doing 🛑 Number 1: I’m not doing an extended fast or anything extreme!! I have a healthy relationship with food and I don’t want to ruin it just to speed up weight loss. Number 2: I’m not giving up keto snacks and treats! I just try to eat 95% real food throughout the day and save my fun keto foods for before bed 😴 It’s easier for me to give up low carb bread and tortillas because most of my meals are meat and veggies 🥩🥦
