@thisisgiakim: Some spontaneous solo excursions around California leading up to bday 🤍 Amazing few days of music, podcasts, walking, driving, and journaling. I wrote down things that don’t serve me and threw them in the bonfire - other people’s opinions on what I do/ say/ am, body image issues, insecurities, negative self-talk, self-judgment, self-doubt,,,, other people’s opinions on what I do/ say/ am. Spent 6 hours just sitting and staring into the fire. It’s truly amazing how much I could learn from just the fire alone. Mother nature truly is the best teacher and I can’t think of anything better to reset and reconfigurate my mind, spirit, and body. Life will always throw bs our way and try to give us every reason to throw in the towel and live with a guarded heart. We can do that, build up a wall, turn sour, and live a life that might keep us “safe,” but it will be stagnant and nothing will ever be extraordinary - OR - we can deal with the bs, but still believe and risk it all for the possibility of something bigger and better - knowing full well we can fail/ get hurt/ betrayed/ disappointed/ all of the above - but dare to experience beyond the ordinary. And I solemnly swear (that I’m up to no good :P) & promise myself that I will always dare to choose the latter. Yes we can attract what we want, but more accurately so we attract who we are. 💫🙌🏻🌏🌝🪐
