The psychological games they used to play at Benning were far more effective than the yelling. Most of us came from backgrounds of being yelled at.

I learned how to drive by being yelled at by my dad then after he passed away my mom took his place to yell at me and teach me how to drive🤷♂️

this is way better. I lost strength going to basic training despite gaining weight. Weight lifting is 10000% better in practice.

The yelling from what I’ve heard is it help you cope in combat situations. Such as when being held at I don’t freeze up or start panicking idk. Someone active, reserve, or a veteran please fact check me 🤣

I think yelling is vital. A stressful environment is what we have to work in because war is stressful. We cant make it easier just for numbers 😭
