@discovery: The November 8, 2022 Beaver #BloodMoon Total Lunar Eclipse marks the last total lunar eclipse until 2025. This event gets its name from a few different places. A beaver moon is the first full moon of November and marks the time trappers would set traps before swamps and rivers froze. It also marks the time beavers are most active during the winter. A blood moon is another name for a total lunar eclipse. A total lunar eclipse is when the Earth passes in between the sun and the moon and the earths shadow is cast onto the moon. The moon turns red due to sunlight passing through the Earths atmosphere and hitting the moons surface. The next total lunar eclipse is expected March 14, 2025. (🎥: @Nicholas Boris)
