I gave up years ago lol. Tho I have a couple that have aquarium gravel in the bottom of the bottles,swirling it around filled with water works too

I just clean them by pouring a bit of salt in and just enough water to move it around without dissolving then shake. No scrubbing it’s great

But what about the algae stuck to the roots? Will it not suffocate the plants eventually

Or just take out the nicely rooted plant and plant it in some sort of growing medium!
