Military jurisdiction is distinct from Civil jurisdiction which is distinct from Equity jurisdiction. Civil jurisdiction for offenses against the State is what police officers impose on the public for civil infractions and criminal offenses, not Military jurisdiction. The remedy of a Civil court if known by the accused is insufficient for Justice to be done in accordance with his natural rights, and proper jurisdiction can be claimed as a matter of Justice if the accused is competent to make the claim. As a result of ignorance and negligence many acquiesce to Civil remedy because no other remedy is known to them.

This is only in some states. Florida has laws that says that they don’t need to take you straight to judge whether probable cause is shown or not.
