@thefitnessmaverick: THE BEST way to do seated calf raises imho⬇️⬇️⬇️ SOUND ON and do this for next-level calves stimulation (Soleus focus) ⚡️ : ✅ Lean in NOT back (unless you’re trying to edge out a few extra reps at the end). It’s a no-brainier that putting more load over your toes will make it harder. ✅ Drive your big toes down hard (stops you from cheating and using the path of least resistance more on the outside of your feet - big toes focus makes it harder!). ✅ No bounce! Control the stretch (can pause if wanted to inhibit stretch-reflex), focus on calves doing the work to raise knees up against the pad.
