FLOUNDER CATCH AND COOK You all kept tagging @Bassbanshee in the comments, SO WE FINALLY COLLABED!! Comment who you want to see me collab with next 👀 Growing up my grandpa would tell me stories about catching flounder and how they’re the chicken of the sea. I thought they were native to only the northeast United States so when BassBanshee told me they were in Northern Florida I jumped at the opportunity. Flounder are opportunistic predators, it’s very rare they pursue their prey. They’d rather remain camouflaged to the bottom and wait for an unsuspecting victim to pass over, then suck them in with their massive mouths. Flounder are able to get up to about 33 inches in this area. It’s cool what you can do with the different fillets because the top and bottom of the fish are different cuts. Our guide recommended stuffing the bottom fillet(thinner one) so that’s what we did here. RECIPE: Fresh Flounder Fillets 2 oz Boursin Cheese (Garlic & Herb) 4 oz Cream Cheese Onion Spinach Italian Seasoning Garlic Powder Onion Powder Salt Pepper Paprika STUFFING: Sauté your onion and spinach in olive oil and butter until spinach is completely reduced and onions are crispy brown. Once finished, add sautéed spinach and onion to a bowl with your Boursin cheese and cream cheese. Mix until all flavors completely combine. Next, add in Italian Seasoning, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, Pepper, and Paprika. Mix and taste as you go along. Add more of whatever you see fit! FLOUNDER Generously season flounder with Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, and Paprika. Once finished, put stuffing at the end of the flounder fillets and roll them up. The more stuffing you can fit in, the better! Pan fry on stove top for 1 minute on each side, then put in the over at 375 for 10 minutes. Make sure entire fillet is fully cooked before taking out of the oven and enjoy!!
