Everyone saying it’s the cyclist lane, well no it’s not, it’s a bud lane before that, and in an emergency a car can pull into a bus lane and stop

Regardless of the local law, driver could have easily pulled just out of traffic, waited for bike to pass on right, and *then* dropped off passenger.

I hate how much allowance many people have to make to keep a small number of cyclists safe. Make them small pathways that are not on the road.

Nah these fisheye make it look way further away. Car probably didn’t check his mirrors and bikes in bike lanes should be treated as any other traffic
