At pet stores like petsmart they throw away hundreds of bags of dog food, most of which are not expired yet. Makes me upset they can’t just DONATE IT

yeah I work at dollar general I just take it when I go outside to the “dumpster” and donate or give to friends. Or my kids.

Used to work for Walmart. They threw perfectly good stuff away instead of marking it down because they made more money claimsing it 😠

Some stores will donate what they can’t sell but that’s also up to the manager of the store. It should be a company policy tbh.
