What truss company doesn’t have a structural engineer to do this?

the biggest problems on our jobs? #1: customers that can't make up their minds #2: architects that don't know how a building is put together

Trusses weren’t designed for a brick veneer so all the eves were 2.5 inches short on each side. Had to scab each truss and correct the pitch

I’d be suggesting to the truss manufacturer that he needs to contact the structural engineer and that he’d be getting a bill from me for fixing it

Two new guys nailed a double girder asymmetrically. Didn’t line up the webs, and cut off the support. Truss company said they’d never heard of someone doing that, and would have to think about it. The news guys spent all day pulling all the nails and repairing the girders.

It’s not my house, but I thank you for doing things the right way. That roof line had leak spelt all over it (especially in freeze thaw climates).

Great job. Some BS companies would have just chose to butcher the hell out it creating a even bigger problem.
