Hubby even got extended release n couldn’t take pooping 15-20 times a day. I have Gastroparesis so I’m used to that. 😳

I had this happen with regular release metformin but extended release gave me no GI issues

The weird part for me was it wasn’t consistent. I would go days with no issue and then have one where I couldn’t move 10 ft away from a bathroom

I had to watch my carb and sugar intake when on metformin. if I didn't straight to the bathroom I went. took myself off 3 yrs ago

Metformin didn’t have that reaction on me. I occasionally get cramps, but no diarrhea.
