If you’re just using a PC, make sure you put the NIC in promiscuous mode before you plug it in to the yellow port!

I have a similar tools, but I have a Shuriken shaped 4-port one and just single line tap from Hak5.

Could you set up a second wired port on your laptop with a USB network adapter so that you can connect both tap ports at once, or run a local Linux vm with the usb adapter.
