Done the same with shear grab for years then got a bale grab far better for soft bales

Yeah we do them the same 👍. Only have about 200 bales. Rest is pit silage.

Dad says you'd break a time or a knife on the grab doing it. Im skeptical but tbf our silage is often very dry and very very dense
