On on hand I get it but on the other- It’s a metaphor for how mothers wish they could hold their children forever 😳

I despise that book. It’s ridiculous. I have 2 kids and my teen would lose their mind if I took them out of their bed while they were sleeping. Gross

Creepy!!! I understand what the author is saying, but there’s SO MANY better ways to express sorrow of a lost child. Just no….

I love that story but I’d always skip the very creepy part where the mom climbs into his room! 😅

Tbh the only creepy part is when the mom is staring over his bed at the beginning of the book

My mother in Law traumatized my husband with this book. Not only that but she has it displayed in a visible spot in her room

me and my brother constantly still cuddle our mom lmao. we're 17 and 20. idk maybe we just don't sexualize our relationship with our mom....

I guess it can be a form of creepy but for a mother to love their kid that much that isn't creepy. the whole book may be a form of "creepy" but it's not. it can be a healing book for loss kids or mothers and is just a overall sad book.
