so the thing with the Mythbusters one was it was cold outside the a/c doesn't work hard in the cold im not sure what the Temps were on the othe tests

You missed something. The more aerodynamically efficient Camry and such also don’t let air into the car. It’s like the windows are up. Miserable.

also depends on terrain for a lot of newer cars. I test drove some hybrid and the power sucked but with ac on and going up hill it really sucked

in a 1980s sedan pulling a fold down trailer through the mountains my dad had to turn off the AC to get up the Hill

Electrics and at least the f150 powerboost uses an electric compressor. I haven’t seen any noticeable range/mpg loss

in the city I don't mind having my windows open, but once I can open up so do my windows old age, and a Stroke, has really affected my heat tolerance

no you're wrong a little bit the pump of AC robs horsepower and you don't have to drive the car to know he eats more gas when you lose horsepower

I saw something like 2013-2014 ish on ABC News that I still follow. I think it said 35 mph and below, use the window. anything above should be a/c
