Just do this until you can get to somewhere that can replace the tyre, it isnt expensive and it doesnt take very long

Those are temporary, plug patch after taking the tire off the wheel is the correct way to fix it

Ideally the best ones to get are from Walmart with the rubber cement in them. These work in a pinch but tire patches work better from a local tire sho

important to note: if the hole is within an inch of the sidewall, the tire is not safe to patch and you will need to replace it
