What do you mean “do nothing”? Does it cause them pain? My dog has a fractured canine, and a tiny red indented hole is visible in the center.

My chihuahua has 1 broken canine but that's it and it hasn't gotten infected (I clean her teeth) so I haven't done anything with it, it doesn't hurt
