@rissarecharged: I’ve done the research 🧐 y’all and probably 7 times out of 10, your primary care physician will never bring up weight loss surgery to you or let you know that you qualify. In fact, they may even refuse to write ✍🏽 a referral when asked. Instead (drop a 💯 if this happened to you) they may tell you that you don’t qualify, you can do it on your own, and prescribe their own diet, pills 💊, food, etc. that you will try and most likely fail. This leads to actual more weight gain, more medical issues and prescriptions, and losing more hope. But there is a loophole 🔂, where you can truly find out if you’re qualified and get the surgery you need to be successful. And if you do go back to your PCP, you will have them “asking all them questions” 😂.
