It’s a topical anesthetic. Saran Wrap helps absorption. Done this way prior to aesthetic procedures I.e. microneedling, IPL, etc

When putting in numbing med the plastic wrap somehow makes it work and keeps it on. We learned this when I was on dialysis. Works better
