@kyyahabdul: #stitch with @tizquierdo yes!!! Be bold with your salary negotiations BUT within reason. Don’t go asking for a salary thats 200% above the market rate. Also this is why having recruiter friends is helpful. They know the market rates and can help you when you are negotiating. For context, the CRO job was paying a little but above market rate but the workload was insane #cro #biotech #salarynegotiation #salarynegotiationtips
Litterly worst they can say is no , then you follow up with wats the growth potential for my salary. If it’s not wat you want move on.

I was told that my offer could possibly be rescinded if I submit a counteroffer-by the recruiter!

I recently asked for the salary that I’m worth based on my education background and experience. The company or organization would not budge. Sometime we have to also be mindful that they’re not going to agree.

I was once told budget was 60k and I said I couldn’t accept lower than 100k. They offered 100+ 8% bonus. Immediately.

Always stay polite when turning it down. If you’re the candidate they want they’ll make the budget for you.
