Put on heat for cold and then the opposite. ALSO turn the air recirculater on. That brings in the air from outside. Works almost immediately

Make sure that the vent isn’t circulating inside. You have to use the button that allows outside air in. If that makes sense? It’s like a recirculating switch/tab/button. You have to turn it off

use the defrost button and make sure you DO NOT turn on recirculation button....recirculation button is used in the summer
