That @makeupbymario palette is going to be the death of me since it’s limited edition. People love it and they won’t be able to buy it so I’m struggling with whether I should use it— even though it’s perfect for bridal.

Not a makeup artist, but I agree. Personally, I’ll take the risk and use expired makeup but I would hate for a makeup artist to take that risk on me.

it's bittersweet. sometimes things are in the shelf for months and we will only count from the purchase day/opening day.

I didn't know this was a debate. the bottom line you're spelling out is that the product has expired. no one should be using expired items on clients.

100% agree, no one should be using expired makeup. I'd be really upset if I'm paying an MUA to do my makeup and it's expired, especially when it comes to creams/liquids
