it's pretty normal behavior. I would just be worried that she'll start excited peeing. I don't pet them before they come back in from potty

She’s telling you all about how she thought you left her forever. My white gsd had extreme separation anxiety. Work on that early. 7 kennels and 1 wall later she’s better.

My female gsd did fine with it but the male hated it & was a pain - we got him a heartbeat stuffed dog that he slept with which helped.

Yes!! Our GSD did … my husband would give him attention … he now has the WORST separation anxiety from him🤦🏼♀️
