When coming into a corner sit right forward on the bike almost on the tank, leg out and power round steer with the back wheel. Much smoother & faster

All I can say is keep practicing, grip tight with your knees and thighs and don't be afraid of a bit more speed, personally easier to deal with when moving faster, the bike does much of the work and I'm just along for the ride.
