Why use metal bead in a moisture prone area.. should use vinyl. 👍🏼 Looks like thinset for mudding.. need use alkaline resistant mesh tape. 👍🏼

If the cornerbead is installed correctly, it won’t crack-it’ll still crack thru the mesh tape if improperly installed-30 years in the biz 😎
