I had a ovarian tumour within a cyst removed 2 weeks ago. Went to see the oncologist and this week. She said I don't need to test for the BRCA gene.

My first thought/question. You you said you had a 50% chance of getting it. Assuming you did not…if you had a child and you did not have it, would your child also have a 50% chance?
