i was forcibly held down and sedated after agreeing to go into inpatient. then when i got there, they forcemedicated me after only 5 mins of talking.

My daughter has been institutionalized twice. The first time, it was scary for both of us, she asked me for emergency help and I took her to the ER.

I have a boy that abused my daughter and should be institutionalized and get help but yet it’s being swept under the rug like you said because children don’t have voices we have to advocate for them 🥺

Inpatient therapy and being in an institution for 3 YEARS without family therapy (or therapy with a guardian) is not to my knowledge recommended
