The best way to install a nest is to leave it on the shelf. I have replaced 5 that are less that 6 months because they decided to just die.

who puts a condensate pump inside the blower compartment? If the pump fails you now have water inside your furnace causing mold issues

my blower fan will only turn on when the ad or heat is on and won't turn on when I set the fan to on. any idea what could cause that?

Had a nest until I noticed that it was absolute garbage and went back to my $20 thermostat. Stupid thing had a mind of its own and you have to work at NASA to try to figure out why it clicks on at 2am and tries to cook the house and then shuts off at 6am and everyone freezes. 😅

I have that trane thermostat on the top system it is needed to control the stages and communications. 3wires nest is crap compared 🥺

A lot of mult speed furnace/AC will not work with other thermostats.
