My bar uses square! We have these card readers we can close people out on and it gives automated tip suggestions so you don’t have to go in at the end

Damn I’m in Canada we use square payments and hand the customer our iPad…. So much easier and they don’t have to do any math!

ohh interesting! my system we type in the total and then it will prompt you like “$20 tip correct?” based off what their bill was and what you type in for the final total when closing out the check

What POS is this? We used Aloha and now Toast and we can actually search the ticket number and adjust our tip by putting it in or adjusting the total

I love our system compared to that one we do it at the end of the night ofcorse then we go and search the last 4 ticket number and input tip and save
