Add A LOT of Salt... water softener pellets are good. You won't be able to grow anything there for a while, but it will recover in a year or so

we had a ton of bamboo on our property. we cut it down, dug up as much as we could with a backhoe, and then brought a tractor in to til the ground.

I can tell you at this point it wil fully regrow. If you leave a tiny bit of its roots its enough to fully regrow

Cut all new growth the base, you have 15 seconds to put pure herbicide into the cut base this will take the herbicide to the root.
