As a vet tech, clients get mad when I don't run up their pet to greet them. I have to explain that most dogs don't like humans running up on them.

I always put my dog on a sit when ppl are coming, so she won’t try to jump excitedly on them, but ppl just go pet her anyway. It’s so frustrating! 😩
