We just took this rule out of our league. There's not scant evidence that forcing sliding prevents any injury. In fact it could do the opposite.

My son has never learned to slide. He did once crawl between the catchers legs to tag home as he stood over it.

In my league sliding at home if there’s a play is mandatory so I called a kid out for not sliding and some parents started yelling at me lol😂

hey lovely peeps, it is not about if sliding is beneficial or not, it is that the coach should have taught girls to slide if it is in the rules

We got taught at 8 I played fastball and my dad was out coach and got pails of water and put them on the grass and had my team slide on the muddy
