@hungry.buns: 🎄A festive afternoon fit for Royalty 👑 ❄️🫖The winter wonderland afternoon tea at the Rubens hotel overall was so beautifully done. From the mulled wine to the pastries, it was a great experience 🥰 👑If you sit beside the window you can enjoy a view of the Buckingham palace mews 🥰The staff were very welcoming, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the lovely Tony at the door! 🫖I got the traditional option and the standouts were the festive additions with the pulled pastrami and roast Turkey sandwich. All sandwich options are refillable too! 😍The highlights were definitely the pastries. Created by made by talented pastry chef Sarah Houghting @houghting . All were absolutely stunning and tasted amazing. It was very hard to pick a favourite! A close call between the Gingerbread biscuit and the chocolate & caramel Yule log 😋 🍏I was also a big fan of the spiced apple jam for the scones!
