no noise when start up or at an idle. just driving down the road you can fill it. cylinders 1 and 2 misfired 16k times in an hour I believe

I read somewhere that there was a group of gm 5.3 engines made in 2021 that had AFM system not added to the motor, due a shortage of specific parts?

It’s a good idea to check the cam lobe of the lifter that has collapsed we’ve come across a lot cam lobe damage.

Could the true fix b turning the v4 mode off? Your valve train will b happy working together n v8 and not floating while in v4.

had a 2014 hemi 5.7 with eco mode. cam and lifters ate each other. some point the finger at 4cyl mode, some point the finger at poor oiling at idle.

lol. built in a date range between 2020 & 2021 is a concern for failed EVERYTHING. I've got a Toyota they forgot to clip half the heat shields. 🤷♂️

I’ve heard of lifters seizing at certain rates and holding valve and slapping piston back to a point it goes to semi normal until loaded

that's why the freeing lifter tool sometimes works if you disable dod after.
