Def not!! Remount the box. Boxes are fireproof , she just caused a fire hazard pulling switches out of the box .

Like others said. You need a box extension. Easy fix. Just make the hole a bit bigger. Still done better than ones I’ve seen lol

or put lip stick on the screws, place wood on top of it,the lipstick makes marks on back of the wood. cut it out. 😏

That box was already a snap on type box. You could left everything alone and loosened two screws pulled the box through the new plank opening. Done! ?
